Website
TEDxBeaconStreet is an exciting new conference set to take place in the Greater Boston area.
My team was given a month to redesign and develop the TEDxBeaconStreet website. One of the main elements is Adventures, aimed at providing participants with behind-the-scenes access to the people and places that make the greater Boston area so dynamic.
Nicole Ajamian, Tim Crotreau, Geordie Kaytes, and Laura Lozano
Lead Designer
Geordie, Tim, and I brainstormed and created the initial wireframe for the homepage with an emphasis on a big background image that helps set the tone for each page. The wireframe also shows off fewer call to action buttons. We also had to plan out the CMS so that the organizers can easily update each page.
The original site had huge chunks of text. One of the key components of the redesign was to make it easier to parse through text-heavy sections, like the 75+ speakers and their bios.

Our aim was to redesign the standard wordpress theme into something that will excite people to go to the conference and showcase the kinds of adventures that TEDxBeaconStreet offers.

Website
Wordpress blog designed for Fresh Tilled Soil's AUX Program.
Using the same structure, each apprentice got to design and code their vision for the blog. Looking out the window onto the Charles River, I was inspired to evoke a similiar feeling as summer turns into fall. The sliding interaction comes from the idea of sliding a window up and down.
Mobile
Prototype application for Android OS phones about sexual health.
Aimed at educating young women aged 16 to 28. TAP THAT provides users with information on general sexual health issues, how to be safe, and the location of clinics.

Motion
A video overview of the Food and Health Entrepreneurship Academy, presented by the UCD Center for Entrepreneurship.
With students and speakers coming from around the world, the Graduate School of Management wanted to promote the program. In a team of three, we created every part of the video: from the storyboarding, filming, and editing.
